The Swiss Mission has informed CERN that the Geneva police force regularly receives reports of fraudulent telephone calls from scammers posing as bank employees, police officers or representatives of the authorities.
The Geneva police force warns the public to beware of such scams and advises anyone receiving a seemingly fraudulent telephone call to hang up immediately and avoid communicating any personal or banking details.
