On Friday 15 November, the astronauts Luca Parmitano (ESA) and Andrew Morgan (NASA) will exit the International Space Station to service the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer (AMS-02). This operation, which will last six hours, is the first of a series of complex spacewalks, the most challenging since repairs to the Hubble Space Telescope.

From 12.50 p.m. CET, watch the first two hours of the spacewalk, streamed live on ESA Web TV and ESA’s Facebook page, featuring commentary from ESA and CERN experts.
