Retirement marks the end of a person’s professional career and the start of a new chapter in life. Research shows that this transition is easier for those who are well informed and prepared.
If you are a staff member and considering retirement in the next one or two years, we encourage you to participate in two special seminars, organised by Human Resources Department:
- Preparation for retirement: a seminar organized jointly by ILO and UNOG once a year, for international civil servants from different international organizations in Geneva.
The next seminar takes place virtually via Zoom from 13 to 30 Nov 2023 with 12 short sessions of 60’ to 90’.

- Leaving CERN: a yearly information seminar at CERN, with presentations and Q&A sessions with internal experts.
