Ethics is essential, in particular in our workplace. It contributes to a positive and productive work environment whilst fostering trust among us, as CERN contributors, and also the trust of our stakeholders, such as Member States, contractors, and research institutions.
At CERN, our ethics-related framework aims to guide us to act in accordance with the Organization’s values and the conduct expected of us, and to establish and maintain a respectful working environment.
How to find CERN’s Code of conduct and get more information:
In order to make our ethics-related framework more easily accessible, the HR department has grouped all the relevant information and resources under a single point of reference at https://hr.web.cern.ch/ethics. On this webpage, you can find official reference documents (Code of conduct, applicable rules, policies and procedures), as well as other useful information.
Whether you want to browse relevant learning courses on offer, have more information on the anti-harassment and the anti-fraud policies, or learn about CERN’s response channels in case of inappropriate behaviour in the workplace, visit the new “Ethics at CERN” webpage.
