The sixth edition of Monts Jura Jazz Festival, organized by the CERN Jazz Club with the support of the CERN Staff Association will be held on 20 and 21 September 2013 on the beautiful site of the esplanade of the Lac de Divonne-les-bains.
Acclaimed by the press, the public and artists in 2012, the new 2013 edition will offer the very best jazz in all its forms. Artists such as Didier Lockwood and David Reinhardt graced the esplanade in 2012. This year, McKelle – one of the finest voices in American jazz – will take the stage, invited by the Charlier / Sourisse group. The next day, Jean-Jacques Milteau, the grand master of jazz harmonica will also play.
Their music is marked by soul and rhythm and blues influences, and the 2013 edition will satisfy a wide audience because the team in charge of the program has not yet revealed all the secrets ... Other jazz greats will be waiting for you on 20 and 21 September 2013 for a weekend of concerts, master classes, and educational activities, all in a festive atmosphere.
