CERN will welcome French industry on 18-19 November 2020 for the 16th iteration of the industrial exhibition France@CERN, for the first time in a digital format. Organised by CERN in collaboration with the Permanent Mission of France to the United Nations in Geneva (Switzerland) and Business France (Zurich), the event will see more than 20 French companies, working in a range of fields including mechanical engineering, materials and electronics, in areas of interest to researchers, engineers and technicians at CERN, feature their products virtually.
Anyone at CERN is welcome to attend the event, with two particular highlights being the welcoming address by CERN’s Director-General, Fabiola Gianotti, and Florent Belleteste, Director of Business France in Zurich; and the three-minute business presentations, where companies will present their activities, products and services.

If you are not in the CERN Purchasing Service database and wish to make appointments with the French industry, please send an email to france-at-cern-contacts@cern.ch in order to receive an invitation.
While the global situation is not exactly the same as it was during the previous iteration, the purpose of the event remains the same: to develop the commercial relationship between CERN and leading companies in its Member States. Procurement remains a fundamental aspect of CERN’s economic impact in its Member States and, reciprocally, advancements in accelerators, detectors and computing take shape through successful business collaborations with a variety of industries.
