As of 2 November 2020, works on the Science Gateway building site will begin. This construction site will cover an area ranging from the current Globe car park, with the Globe itself and Ideasquare, to the former kindergarten.

While work is ongoing, about a hundred parking spaces will remain accessible around the Globe to accommodate visitors from outside CERN. Members of the CERN community are now invited to park their vehicles within the fenced CERN sites.

As a reminder, parking conditions at CERN, including a long-term parking solution for business trips, are described on the SMB Department website.

Owners of vehicles parked in the Globe car park must move their vehicle before Sunday 1 November.
