ECFA public talk on 6 October – “Does the World need a new particle collider – and why?”

ECFA, the European Committee for Future Accelerators, will be holding a public talk on the need for a new particle collider on 6 October at DESY, in Hamburg (Germany). Follow the conference online, either on DESY's Youtube channel (on which the event will be live streamed) or via Zoom. 

During this conference, entitled “Does the World need a new particle collider – and why?”, Japanese-American scientist Hitoshi Murayama will explore the fascinating scientific opportunities that such a collider could offer. The talk will be followed by a round-table discussion with renowned panelists, including CERN Director-General Fabiola Gianotti.
