We are thrilled to announce significant updates to the CERN Campus app, just in time for our upcoming CERN70 Community Event on 17 September.
Launched a year ago, the app has already surpassed 10 000 downloads and attracts an average of 600 daily users.
The app offers a comprehensive suite of features including emergency notifications for safety updates, direct access to CERN’s emergency services via an SOS button, an interactive map and the campus phonebook. Users can also check restaurant menus and occupancy level, as well as the operating hours of different campus services; stay informed about news and events; and access campus services such as housing, mobility, CERN clubs, CERN market, the CAGI cultural kiosk, library resources and more.
Recently updated to include all essential details for the upcoming CERN70 Community Event on 17 September, the app continues to enhance user experience and accessibility, offering a complete overview of the programme, schedule, artists, installations in the “Village”, maps and practical information. The app is now accessible without a CERN login (except for the phonebook), making it easier for newcomers, contractors and professional visitors to engage in activities at CERN.
