The latest edition of the "News from the Lab" event series will tackle the challenges faced when designing equipment for highly radioactive environments such as particle detectors. It will take place on Thursday 24 February from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Speaker Lorenzo Teofili will also be addressing the challenges in designing detector interfaces for smooth interactions between robotic and automatic systems and the detectors themselves, as well as presenting design solutions elaborated by the detector technology (DT) group in the CERN Experimental Physics (EP) department.
